Just an ordinary week

Someone asks, “what’s new?” and you have to think real hard to come up with an answer. Some weeks are just like that here in the studio. I finished the gift towels:

Today I wound a warp for a new batch of towels. These are for inventory as I’ve sold all but one of what I had on hand. But it’s a pretty boring picture since it is just white yarn. I’ll weave them in some sort of twill pattern, but I haven’t decided yet which one.

On the knitting side of things, I’m in progress on two of the four commissions I have from a client in DC.  There’s a lace scarf which is coming along nicely and a wool hat on which I’ve gotten through the ribbed edging and have just started the main pattern.

So, just cooking along with stuff. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. And I’m just fine with that. I don’t need any drama from misbehaving projects. Right now I think I’ll settle in on the couch with some knitting and watch the rain pour down.
